Leading Through Inclusion event 2026

  • The 2026 Leading Through Inclusion Event was on Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 July 2026.
  • The theme for 2026 was: Skills for Life!
  • It was held at the Playford Civic Centre, 10 Playford Blvd, Elizabeth SA 5112
  • 208 people came to the event on Tuesday.
  • 187 people came to the event on Wednesday.

Leading Through Inclusion gives people with intellectual disability and their families or caregivers the chance to:

  • Be seen.
  • Be heard.
  • Be understood.

How do I get involved?

Tickets to Leading Through Inclusion 2026 have now SOLD OUT.

On the day

Registration.
Doors open from 9:30am for a 10am start. 
Please come to the Welcome table to get your lanyard.
If you are a stallholder you can arrive from 8:30am.

 

 

Food and Drinks.
There will be breaks during the day. 
We will provide a light morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. 
Light means 1 salad pot or 2 wraps. 
In your lanyard there will be a food ticket for each break. 
Please keep the food tickets safe. You need your ticket to get your food. 
If you get hungry please bring your own snacks.
There are food shops near the venue and at Elizabeth Shopping Centre.

 

 

Health and wellbeing.

Please stay home if you have any symptoms or feel unwell. 
If you come and are visibly unwell you will be asked to leave the event. 
This is to help keep everyone safe. 
If you are no longer able to come to the event please contact SACID so we cancel your ticket and let someone else come.

Leading Through Inclusion. Theme: skills for life. Art competition. Paint, draw, photographs, digital art! Create artwork that we can showcase on the cover of the Leading Through Inclusion event program. How to get involved: this is an art competition for people with intellectual disability in SA. The artwork must be related to our theme Skills for Life. Send it to admin@sacid.org.au by 1 May 2026. The winner will have their artwork on the program and get a 450 voucher.
