SACID is part of a new project called Me and My Medicines.
SACID has been awarded an Innovation Seed Funding grant from the National Centre of Excellence in Intellectual Disability Health!
This project will be led by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA). The University of Newcastle is also part of the project.
This project aims to help people with intellectual disability understand:
- How to use medicines safely.
- All of the ways that pharmacists can support people.
We will develop a training workshop and Easy Read resources.
