THE SACID REFERENCE GROUP
The SACID Reference Group is a sub-committee of the SACID Board.
All members of the SACID Reference Group have intellectual disability.
The Reference Group members give advice and direction to the Board about what is important to them.
They also give feedback about new resources, project ideas and share their personal experiences.
The Reference Group members help to make sure that the work SACID does is relevant to people with intellectual disability and their families.

This year on the SACID Reference Group I liked bringing up things, like getting your license – that was my idea – and then having someone from Government come and talk about it with us. I liked meeting new people. We don’t have anything like SACID out in the country, it has been good to get SACID’s support through the Reference Group.
